New Class Pictures and Test Information
We are so happy to welcome all of the awesome new students to the Family Martial Arts Center!! Everyone is doing GREAT, and we’re so proud of our beginners and advanced ranks alike! Keep up the great work! And speaking of great work, The coloring contest entries we’ve had come in so far are spectacular! Extra, super well done!
Prizes for 1st place in each age group will be a gift certificate to Cold Stone’s Ice Cream (YUM!), 2nd place a set of rubber ninja stars, and 3rd an Easter toy.
Next week is test week (wow – that was fast!). A sign up sheet will be at the front counter. If you’re ready to test for your next belt you need several things first -
All 4 stripes on your belt. If you know your material but haven’t had a chance to ask an instructor to watch you for your stripe, now’s the time to ask. Don’t be shy. Best time is right after your class is over.
Your name on the sign up sheet. This is how we keep track of who’s advancing and who to order belts for. It’s important to put your current rank and belt size on the sign up sheet.
A completed Promotion Request Form. Ask Mr. or Mrs. Fogal for one at the front counter and make sure your school teacher and parents give you permission to test.
Enthusiastic and earnest attitude on test day. Good technique is not the only thing the judges consider when deciding whether to promote you or not.
